So I'm looking for a new 18650 tube mod and a new dual 18650 box mod. For the box I generally build with 24 gauge and dual coils so I'm not sure if I need series or parallel for that.

I'm looking for a sleek looking box, one that's either a sleek steampunkish design like the Adamantium X by Deus Ex Machina Vapors or one that is simple and sleek like a hexohm. For the tube anything that isn't wood or copper would be lovely.

I already have a limited edition snow wolf 200 but I want to get some mechs just to have around. I've had a mech before but long story short it's not used.

I didn't include a price range but for the most part there is none. This is mainly just to get a feel for where I'll be looking.

For a tube mod - I cannot recommend the Kennedy Ruby too much. It is a peach of a mod. But it is very expensive. But then you will never need another RDA or tube mod after using it, lol. Don't get the copper. It is a pain cleaning it. The SS is great.

For a box mod - Wow too many choices. For size I like the Dos Equis and hits like a ton of bricks. Get the authentic and be happy. I happen to own a Mun Equitas in pink too - love the mod but the authentic Catigator is just the same and also small and lovely.

I looked at a few of the Dos Equis, not bad. How much is the Kennedy Ruby? I mean if it's high quality and works great I don't mind price. Have you seen the Excalibur tube mod? I thought about that a bit.

I almost bought the Lethal box mod until I found out it was a parallel.

I often use an all copper Abbadon clone. It's a parallel box and with the right build, it's a serious hitter and it's about the smallest parallel box you can buy, and it feels very comfortable in your hand. It has that steampunk look you mentioned and it's built like a brick. You can't kill it. You can find them for about thirty bucks and I've gotten hundreds if not thousands of hours of use out of it. I'd recommend one to anyone wanting a true, fully mechanical mod. No wires or mosfets here.

Yeah it is. But one has to ask..... Does it vape 200 dollars better than that Abbadon I posted? I think not. After 8 months of regularly vaping on that Abbadon mod with zero issues, I definately got my moneys worth. No doubt anyone would. Will it still work as well three years from now? I say probably. It's just a straight mech. Not a lot I can tell to go bad on it. I might have to replace a spring or two on the switch, but that's about it. And with a .12 build on the parallel box, it hits just as hard as my noisy cricket with a .51 build. I just can't justify spending the 235 price tag when this thing works very well.

If you're looking series cvapor bad sourcemore have the noisy cricket for 20$. no brainer in my opinion.
For a tube mod, I'm all about the flagship by smk
For a parallel - I dunno

The Noisy Cricket is a series box there f1r3b1rd. Not a parallel, but I do agree. It's a pretty awesome mech. I'm hitting one right now as a matter of fact. Just have to use a different, higher ohm build than you would on a parallel.

It's apples and oranges. The machining on the kennedy is simply superb. And it comes with competition kennedy RDA. Is it worth it? I think so. It is a mod you have for a long long time. And you can get the SS and it is just as good

Dual 24g KA1? Series. Dual 24g 304/316L/317L/430 or titanium? Parallel. N80? Either one.

Sounds about right for a mech thanks. I run on a regulated so I'm used to having all the power I want.
