Best is super subjective and totally depends on if you're looking for flavor, clouds, or both? My top 3 RDA right now are Petri 2.0, Twisted Messes squared, and the Goon. My fav tanks are the Boreas for dual coil or the bachelor for single coil. I've also heard very good things about the Merlin which can be built for dual or single coils.

Agreed. Excellent choices and for the most part my favorites. You might get a hundred opinions, all different, but arth1981 pretty much nailed it there...

For RDA,it must be mutation x v5,it is really awesome,it could be used postless and velocity, and the deck material used ceramic.I got it yesterday, the flavor is pretty good,it would be my love now.
For RDTA,I suggest limitless rdta, for I saw the review made by Rip.I got one,but it is on the way, haha

for I saw the review made by Rip

You would recommend something based on what that sell-out shill said? Personally I prefer to actually use something before suggesting that someone buy it.

I just ordered a Boreas and a Griffin 25 off of eBay.
I've got to find something rebuildable (RTA) for when I leave the house and those are the two everyone seems to like the most.
I'm tired of wasting money on Crown coils because that is what i usually take out with me.

See, I've used like, five or six sub-ohm tanks in my life. The only two I liked were the CCI Maus because it was retarded clouds with zero effort and the Crown because it was retarded flavor with zero effort. But, I hate buying coils. I can have hundreds of feet on wire that I can use on ANY rebuildable ready to go for any type of build, but a Crown coil is only good FOR a Crown. Plus I've heard Crown owners bitch because B&M's can only sell them in 4 packs due to U-Well's packaging of them, where-as the pill-sheet style is used for most other sub ohm tank coils that allows individual sale in local shops.

Plus, if I find I can get better clouds, heat and flavor out of my own builds. If you build it, clouds/flavor will eventually come. Same with mods, I get a much better mental vape when I use mods I made.

The coils are killing me because I have a few Crowns going at once so I'm blowing through like 4 coils a week.
I have plenty of wire and I like RDAs when i'm home because when I try to take them out I end up with juice all over me plus when i'm walking with a mod in my hand it ends up tilted and juice leaks out the airholes on the RDA.

I also like the control of being able to build my own coils and using the cotton of my choice.

I was kind of holding off on the RTAs because they kept getting better at a fast rate so I didn't want to get a piece of shit.
The Griffin and Boreas seem to be the go-to RTAs for nearly everybody who uses RTAs

I will probably buy the RDA section for each of my Crowns so I can use them if coils become extinct.

But I am hoping that these RTAs live up to all of their hype.

I hear ya bro. I run 6 Crowns and it gets expensive. I just picked up 28 boxes of SS Crown coils. I also just ordered 4 Boreas, 2 Allerias, and 2 Merlins. I guess I'm just going to have to teach myself how to build. This really sucks. Love your country but fear your government.

It's a HARD sell between the Griffin 25 (no top airflow) and the Herakles RTA-2. The Herakles RTA-2 (and RTA-4) has WAY more airflow than the top AFC Griffin and a TON more than the 25mm non top AFC Griffin, but the Griffin without top airflow holds more juice and gives better flavor than the Herakles. The Herakles RTA-2 has a ton of airflow of which all is hitting coil, AND hitting it efficiently (I'm sorry but no matter how you design that top airflow, it's not hitting the coil well, at best it's barely grazing the top of it, but it's likely the jetstream from the bottom airflow and it's outlet holes being next to the chimney will cause it to hit the deck and immediately get sucked back up before it contacts the coil. It's useless in my opinion, does nothing but kill flavor and vapor density.) so there is that. If you want flavor more, go Griffin 25 (top AFC is up to you, you can always shut it off, but the one without it holds more juice) if you want clouds more go Herakles RTA-2. I believe the RTA-2 has a deck that's just a TOUCH bigger.

The Boreas/Aromamizer Supreme is largely the same. The Boreas is more for clouds and the deck is bigger (Still gives bomb ass flavor, don't get me wrong) but the Supreme, while having a slightly smaller deck, gives better flavor and the air seems to hit the coils more efficiently unless you're like me and build really wide coils.

Or, be a true doomsday prepper and buy all four.

I just posted a thread on the Crown RBAs ... http://vapingunderground.com/threads/crown-rba-vertical-build.241813/

I've been using them for a while now. In my experience if it's leaking then it hasn't been wicked properly. It takes some practice and every once in a while when I'm in a hurry to wick the RBA I get some slight leakage which tells me that I need to re-wick the right way. It's a bit of a PITA but well worth it IMO. I would say that 9 out of 10 times I can wick it correctly the first time.

Now I'm not paying a fortune for coils that suck back the juice and battery life. Also I never once had one of those AMAZING coils that lasted for 3-4 weeks. Maybe I got a couple bad production runs but mine would last about 5-10 days max. The other benefit of the RBA in my opinion is that you don't have to go through half a tank of juice until it tastes right. Generally after 8-10 vapes or less it's good to go. :shades: The flavor and clouds are just as good if not better than the stock coils IMO.
