Looking to upgrade my box mod

I am looking for a new box and I can't decide if I want to go with something with an internal battery or one that uses external ones. I am not looking for crazy amounts of power, so that isn't an issue. But what are the pros and cons here? I am using a 20w istick clone now and I like the ease of it. I am looking to start building and maybe playing with TC coils too, so that is something to consider. I am just looking for advice to point me in the right direction. Thanks!

I personally like going with external batteries. If an internal battery dies, your mod is junk. With an external you can just replace the battery. Also external batteries give you the advantage of charging one battery and vaping on another and carrying multiple batteries around with you. you don't have to wait for your mod to charge you just swap the battery for a fresh one, and chargers are not that expensive. What kind of atty are you vaping on now and what kinds of builds are you planning on getting into?

I am using a kanger pro tank 2 and an iclear 30s at the moment. As far as builds I don't want to start off with anything too crazy. I am shooting for something around 1 - 1.5ohms and see from there. I picked up a mutation v4 from a local b&m so I think I can do pretty much whatever with that to start. I haven't started yet though.

eleaf has a 100 watt I stick I think its pretty cheap( around $40) and would allow you to experiment with all sorts of builds (no temp control). I personally prefer devices with external batteries. i have an ipv d2 75 watt(temp controlled) that i use regularly that was pretty affordable about $75 i think. my all time favorite is my snow wolf 200 watt but that was fairly expensive. as far as your build you could try 28 gauge dual coils probably like 10-12 wraps on a 2.5 millimeter should get you in that range. just be safe and make use of the online battery charts for resistance, amp draw,etc. and make sure you use an ohm meter when you build. if you don't know what i am talking about you really should do some research about coil building before you try anything. there's lots of good videos for beginners out there. happy vaping oh also your b+m will probably help build and wick your first coils for you if you asked so you could see in person how its done
