Hey Folks, hope this is in the right slot!....I have a LUCV4 charger, work great but I was just charging a few batts up and I touched them to see if they may be getting warm and the volt display jumped up three or four tenths of a volt,is this normal? This is the first time I had noticed it.....Any answers?....Z

Both styles,it only spins a little and the meter jump up,never down,I have cleaned both contacts on the charging bay and the batteries when I charge them and it still happens....Z

yeah I was going to say maybe your contacts need to be cleaned. If that's not the case, maybe a loose connection in there somewhere. Sounds like it's working other than that

Thank You Jon,I was just wondering if anyone else had that happen....I cleaned them both again and it seems to be O.K. for now,I'm going to check it again when its time to recharge....Z

Had mine for about 5 months now.. I clean the contacts with scotchbrite and a q-tip dipped in alcohol about every 2 weeks..I have 4 dual batt mods and always charging batteries.. Been a good charger for me and no issues with it at all..

Mine does it all the time. Also when I put in two batteries I know the voltage of, after checking with a DMM, it will read their voltages wrong and different from one another. Its done this since I bought it, but it charges them to the same voltage so I dont really care.
