I have always wanted a high end wood mod but have never been able to spend the money they want for one. That is not to say they aren't worth every penny but just more than I can afford right now. Being that I am a hobbiest hand tool woodworker I thought I should be able to make one. I have made a couple in the past but they always end up a bit larger than I wanted. This time I am happy with the result so I thought I'd post it here and also on ECF to get opinions.

Here are the specs: Cocobolo body, ebony screen face plate, black mitec fire switch, single 18650, tact switch up and down, Varitube 510, and Evolv DNA 60 board. Heavily inspired by the JMFD which is probably my favorite high end mod right now. Everything was done using hand tools as this is how I woodwork. I must say that after making this mod I am surprised how little some of the high end mods actually cost. This thing took some serious time to get done.

Thanks all. I would honestly need to get like $1000 a mod to even begin to get my time back. I had a blast making it and the tiny meticulous work was fun but damn if I didn't swear a lot in the process. Maybe some day I will own a milling machine and things would be much easier but as of now this is a one off. I do want to pick up a couple more DNA60 boards to try something else. This DNA60 is definitely where it's at!! This is a perfect board for my vaping style and think Evolv will do really well with this one. If I could easily get the Dicodes BF60 board I would def like to try that one out but since the DNA60 is available easy enough I will be sticking with it. Unfortunately the SX boards have gone to being far too large in size and are designed around dual battery which is not my style. I used the old original SX350 a while back and this is honestly my favorite board to date. Why they stopped making this one I will never know. Whatever board I end up with next I do think I really want to make a squonker, which means even more tiny little tedious work.

Well, sadly I can't do $1000 for the pre-order, but I'd be happy to offer you $100 for the prototype? LOL!!! Seriously though, it is very SEXY!
