Maganus question

I just got the Maganus today and was wondering what is a good watt starting point using the .2 ohm coil.. I had the .5 ohm coil in it but didn't like it much..now I've got a new .2 ohm coil coil installed, juiced up and sitting..I haven't hit it yet..

Your the first suggestion (reply) I got but my post is a few days old and I couldn't wait....that said I started off at 40w, then 50w, then 75w that was a little too hot for me... I settled on 60w and it's OK.. Time will tell if I keep it..

You'll probably find in time you'll end up running it at like 40 watts. I used to run my .2 coils at like 50 or 55 watts then I realized it works just as good at 40 watts, saves the battery some also.

I tried those nickel coils too but vapor wasn't what I excepted....in TC mode at 35j and 450°F all I got was lame, see-thru clouds..stock kanthel was better but still liking my dark horse RDA with a dual kanthel .3 ohm build for thick clouds and great flavor..maybe someday a subtank will duplicate that but so far they all fall a little short for me..

Yep I use a Dark Horse authentic and I love it. I will say the High Voltage tank comes real close !

And this cloud was blown on the Dark Horse with a .3 ohm dual 24g kanthel build at the same 60w having fun fogging up my room under the blacklight..lol.. looking for a subtank that can duplicate those thick clouds but haven't found it yet..lol

Nice cloud ! The High Voltage tank comes with only a .2 coil. I've hit it at 100 watts just to see if it lived up to specs and it did. But like I said....The Dark Horse is one of my favs. I've hit the Dark Horse at 260 watts multiple times in a row and it performed flawlessly. A testament to the build quality. No problems with the center post insulation either at that wattage !

I like the .5 coil. I run it at 55-60 watts most of the time

I also run mine at about 60w problem I have is I run at least 70vg and it kills all coils within 3-5 days

I mix my juice at 80%vg and I usally get 7-10 days out of a coil

Same here they are not bad but to pay $5 a coil. And crap out within days and a little muted flavor I now am debating an rta. Billow 2 or the goliath v2 pre order. Goliath 2 looks pretty nice and takes youde's coil heads aswell

Funny you should say that because I have the Dark Horse on the IPV3 that blows some serious clouds when the tanks seem rather lame at times. Lol

Only way I get that is if I'm rotating between the mutation v4 and the Maganus , none of them hold up worth a Damn those heads should be much cheaper, when ya can rebuild for pennies

Really wish I could get the same thick clouds from a subtank
Earlier in this thread I posted a cloud blown on the Dark Horse under the black light.. This is the same build about 3 weeks old now and still hitting like the day I installed it..There is nothing that comes close to vaping a good RDA..
