Magnetic stirrer

I've seen a couple of guys on YouTube using these. They claim it mixes the juice better and cuts down on steep time. Does or has anyone used these for dyi?

There are several of us here that use one, it does help. But not in all instances. Some mixes still require steeping for a period of time. Please note, I mix large volumes at times also.

It also allows for stirring without getting air bubbles with your Nic ;)

Like Puff I use one because it allows me to mix without air being pulled into the juice....however nothing is a substitute for time.

Ya got that right.:p

I don't use one. I mix once every 6 weeks or so, make a few different recipes and set them in the closet. I give them all a bit of a shake every time I get in the closet for juice.

I just built my own diy style. Used a motor from an old CD drive. Followed a diy inscrutable. Work great,, but the magnetic stir bar had not arrived in the mail yet. So during testing I was using six rare earth magnets stuck together,,of course the magnets whipped off centre and went right threw my 100ml
Erlenmeyer flask! Live and learn. Smaller bottles I just shake by hand.. Typically use It on high VG juice and larger quantities. But It works great and is a real time saver.
