Actually NO.
More teens would smoke because there would be no other choice.
If this same study were done on the people who are members of this forum it would have found the same results.
Vaping is found mostly in current and former smokers.
They can twist that anyway they want but I'd bet they would have trouble finding a person on this form who started off vaping and then somehow graduated to full on cigarette addiction.
The same is true for all age groups.
Of course people who smoke(d) are going to be the ones who vape(d) that's just common sense. - 5150
Correlation does not imply causation is a main rule of all tobacco related science but junk scientists will always be trying to turn a simple association into a gateway and politicians who aren't too smart to begin with will continue to fall for it.
