making a 75/25 mix into a 50/50

I have a 30 ml bottle thats 75/25 mix at 3mg and i need to cut it to 50/50 for a buddy because he is using a aspire pen style type tank. I am completely out of flavors but still have nicotine and am hoping the pg would carry the flavor better after diluting. Can i add a certain amount of pg and then nic to bring it to a 50/50 blend with 3mg nic. Any help is greatly appreciated

Yes, you could make a PG only mix at 3mg and add it. It would dilute the flavor quite a bit though. It's too early for me and I need another cup of coffee but off the top of my head it should take 15ml of 3mg PG to get the juice to 50/50.

Might still be good flavor. I don't know.

As a side note, I think I made a 30ml mix and used PG in place of VG making it a 100% PG mix. It seems really thin so I'm guessing that's what happened. I'm going to have to make a Max VG mix and mix the two together to fix it.

Thats what i originally thought, but i dont think the math would be right on that. If i have a 30ml bottle of 75vg/25pg and i added 15 ml of pg, it wouldnt be a 50/50 blend i dont think lol. Its confusing when you already have a bottle made at certain percentages

It may sound wrong but I believe 15ml is correct.

30ml @ 25/75 PG/VG is 7.5mlsPG/22.5mlsVG.

You need 22.5 mls PG(you can't reduce VG) to get 50/50.

22.5 - 7.5 = 15MLs.

My math is correct.

You could probably get away with doing 10mls. His tank should handle a bit higher VG than 50/50.
