Andy Muschietti, the director of horror flick Mama, is in negotiations to take over directing New Line Cinema's long-in-the-making adaptation of the classic Stephen King's It.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Muschietti takes over from True Detective's Cary Fukunaga, who was originally on board to direct It but recently left the project over disagreements about budget and filming locations.
