"These results indicate that while taking into account [e-cigarette] use does indeed increase tobacco/nicotine prevalence, the impact of [e-cigarettes] is likely not as large as might appear by their recent, dramatic increase in use among adolescents," Miech and colleagues wrote.

When 2/3 of teens are not using nicotine it would be safe to assume that many of the 1/3 that are using it are practicing tobacco harm reduction just like us.

Looks like Big Tobacco (and Big Pharma) is losing new recruits (and new cancer patients) by the millions.

According to the FDA this must be stopped? Corrupt fuckers - 5150

Don't know if this is to be considered as good news, since stating that 2/3 of the teens are vaping without an actual reason and just for the flavor, may support the "for the children" argument that flavors should be removed from e-liquid.

But stating that 2/3 of the teens are vaping without an actual reason blows the "Teen Nicotine Epidemic" and "Gateway to Smoking" theories out of the water.

At the moment those are the main two reasons the FDA are giving for regulating vaping like smoking.

They have already stated they were going to ban flavors in two years in the reply to the lawsuit but those are the two reasons they gave for it needing to happen.

Besides they are saying they have no authority over zero nic anyway so how would banning flavors in eliquid with nicotine "Save The Children"?
