Margot Robbie is in talks to star in Mattel's feature film, Barbie, which is based on the popular household name, according to Variety.
Robbie is also reportedly set to produce with Mattel President, Robbie Brenner. The film was originally going to be with Sony, but when they passed Mattel decided to take back the rights.
Variety reports that it will likely be heading to Warner Bros. due to Robbie's first-look deal at the studio.
The original script had plans for Amy Schumer to star in it, and later Anne Hathaway when Schumer had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.
