Hi everybody , i'm new in this forum and come from France, i recently bought an original Marquis dripper and would like to get some information regarding the diffrents way to coil and wick it and your sensation with this dripper. I 'm also interesting in health subject concerning the vape and particularly the last studies from USA. For your information the regulations in France is going to change, maybe due to tobaccos and health lobbies companies. Maybe you can also help me to share evolution of FDA regulations and the new products and tendances of the vaping. thanks to try to read me up to the end and apologize for my English

The Marquis is quite nice and is aimed mainly at flavor.
I don't use my Marquis anymore, but at one time it was my favorite.
Because of it's unique design it's suited for dual vertical build and is almost leak proof.
When you build don't forget to use the supplied rods, they help a lot.
Also I would recommend to align the center post and then tighten the 510 as much as possible, this will prevent the center post from spinning in place when you tighten the screw on top (and ruin your build).

Though the FDA is American, it's actions also indirectly effect vaping in other countries since it effects Chinese and European manufacturers who intend to sell to US and a lot of governments around the world will just copy paste what the FDA decides, without much thought.

thanks to all for your reactivity, sorry to have post in a bad section, I'm reading the rules now.
nightshard, why did you stop to use the Marquis, just for information.

After it and a few other flavor RDAs I switched to some RDTAs and to some bigger chamber RDAs that can accommodate bigger coils.

Hello EV and welcome to VU:wave:
I am in the UK. 10mls maximum of eliquid and 2ml leak proof tanks come into force in Nov! Hope to see you around.

Ps Your English is great.

Hi gingerbread, I agree, the TPD is a mess, Hope many changes will occur before its application.
This is absolutely ridiculous, and it comes straight after the NHS has publicly stated that research and evidence has come to light that e-cigarettes are 99% less dangerous than smoking is,
Is there any association in UK to fight against that directive, in France we have AIDUCE and FIVAPE.
The last Royal college of physician report https://www.rcplondon.ac.uk/projects/outputs/nicotine-without-smoke-tobacco-harm-reduction-0
stated with new demonstration of the effect of the E-cig compared to classic cigarettes

I have owned the Marquis for about 1 year now. The only advice I can share is how you wrap your coils. Assuming you do duals it is a bit easier if you wrap the second coil counter-clockwise so the legs align better with the post. If you heat your coils to prepare them you should do so BEFORE attaching to the Marquis. Otherwise, once mounted the coils are difficult to compress with tweezers. Love my Marquis and using it as I type this!
