Marvel Comics editor Mike Marts is leaving the comics giant to be the Editor-in-Chief of his newly-founded company.
Known for his work on Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men, and DC's Batman, Marts is joining with former Marvel writer Joe Pruett to form AfterShock Comics.
Deadline reports Marts and Pruett are joined by co-CEOs Michael Richter and Jon Kramer of Facebook and reality television, respectively. Head story analyst for Endeavor Lee Kramer will serve as AfterShock's president, and Jawad Qureshi of SVP Investor Relations will also be a part of the executive team.
