I am brand new to this forum. I am looking to get a mech mod. I want something that's reliable and really chuck's clouds along with my Mutation x v4 rda. Also, something thats not too expensive. I was looking at Fuhattan, smpl, tugboat etc. Any ideas?

while not all mechs are built the same, there's not that much difference as far as how well they allow you to "chuck clouds". That comes down to the coil, the airflow, and the power being applied to the coil. A mech made of pure silver will conduct electricity better (and thus provide a touch more power) than one made of copper or aluminium, but unless you get one custom made by a silversmith. . . Mechs just provide a means to connect the battery to the RDA, so it's really going to be down to what battery they hold and what battery you use (one that's only 10A Vs one that's 30A, etc).

Aside from what battery they use, I'd shoot for copper connections, comfortable to hold and use, easy to carry, and reliable (don't need one whose button is going to fall apart).

You may know all this, but since I read your post as 'wanting a mech that chucks clouds', thought I'd mention it. I've seen sales clerks tell people that such-and-such mech makes bigger clouds than the others, when really it was about which one the sales clerk wanted to push.

Wow, I really appreciate it. I'm gonna go with the Fuhattan. It has the copper connections. I have some fresh new samsung batteries as well. Plus if I don't like it in the long run it won't cost a fortune. Thanks Again, you know your stuff buddy

welcome. Dont forget to routinely clean the oxidization off of those connections (and threads) to ensure a reliable connection to battery. Hopefully you have an ohm meter to check your build with and a coil calculator on your phone (such as the one in VaporCalc) to help make sure you're not overloading the battery.

Ok, I will definitely do that. I do have an ohm meter and use a similar app on my phone. Safety is #1 importance to me

You will love it. Hits hard and super low voltage drop because it's all thick, thick copper with a decent switch.

PM when you get it, there's a trick I learned with taking a tiny, tiny dab of dielectric grease and putting a light coat on the moving copper post part of of the switch. It will make the switch as smooth as rubbing 2 melting ice cubes together.
