The .15 is a temp control coil NI. Are you using it with tc.? I have the new melo 2 It is very good tank.

What are you using it on? Like Wally says, It needs to be in TC mode and depending on which device you are using, be sure to also lock in your resistance.

This is a big reason why I am hoping that stainless steel becomes the industry standard for temp control coils. All of the different coil materials and mod terminology is confusing to so many people. Stainless steel coils are capable of working on some TC and all VW mods, If they were standard, vapers who don't quite understand TC wouldn't put themselves at risk by throwing a nickle coil on an iStick 100.

Good point. @CorallineAlgae in case you don't know, that istick 100watt does not do temp control.

I also find Ni200 coils nasty tasting. I get a similar metallic taste from titanium coils, and I vape at low watts and low temperatures. Some people are more sensitive to certain metal than other people. It may not be the coil or the mod. You may be one of those people with a sensitive palette. You could always try a titanium coil. If that doesn't work, stick to kanthal or stainless steel. Nickle or even titanium temperature control vaping is absolutely not for everybody. Some people hate it even if they don't get an off flavor from the metal.

Yea you have to have a tc mod in order for ti to work. Now the titanium is very good in ti mode best tasting of all of them I think.

I also bought the istick , melo 2 kit and the ni200 gives a metallic taste for a while , i ran about 20ml through it and it went away , i have not tried the ti or the ss coils yet as i am waiting till i burn or wear this one out . but the metallic taste may be off putting for a lot of people , i was to the point of swapping it . got up the next morning to do a rinse and fill and hit it while i was walking downstairs and "poof" metallic taste was gone . it may be a break in of the coil i am not sure but i know it will go away soon if you can stick through it .

Ti makes all the difference in the world. The ni did nothing for me.

You want to keep the nicotine level of your juice below 6 mgl, higher than that causes burnt or harsh hits.

I have three melo 2 here( NOT CLOANS) no metal taste. Now if your tc was not adjusted right when it is room temp both unitsyou will get metal taste.
