Menthol crystals

I just got some menthol crystals from MFS. Had anyone used these and if so at what percentages of pg do you use. Also if you have any good recipes for them I would love to hear them.

If I remember right, people dissolve 1/4th tspn of the crystals into 10 ml of PG, which would be approximately EITHER a 5% or 10% solution. You probably want to check that because not only am I vague, I'm not positive I'm right! I bought mine in a solution.

I've never known the percentage in the solution, so I just wing it on the rare occasions I use menthol. As for recipes, you can add it to almost anything fruity with good results. It's nice to give peppermint a kick. I like it in sour fruit flavors the best.

I *think* most commercial menthol is 5% that we buy diluted.

I'd try @lirruping 's suggestion. If it's not strong enough, double crystals.
