Mix match batteries?

About 6 months ago I bought what I thought was a pair of Sony vtc4 batteries. One battery had a sticker over the label but the other didn't. But they looked identical so I've been charging them and using them together in my chipped box mods. Yesterday I got my first unregulated box mod, the tugboat tuglyfe mod. I got bored and decided to peel that sticker and underneath told me it was a vtc5. So I have been unknowingly using a vtc4 and a vtc5 for 6 months. Question is, is it safe to continue doing this with the mod I'm using? My builds are between 0.2 and 0.25 ohms.

TLDR: can I use a vtc4 and a vtc5 together in a duel parallel box mod?

Being that low of a build. I wouldn't chance it. Just buy matching batteries with the same mah and amp limit. Better safe than sorry over a few bucks is well worth it to me.

It'll work but there are lots of reasons it's a bad idea. If someone sold you two VTC4's and one of them wasn't a VTC4 don't buy from them again.
Batteries are cheap go here http://liionwholesale.com/ and get a matched set and be safe.
