Mixing vendor liquids

Well, I am most definitely going to get into true DIY mixing, (it just seems the thing to do when you just can't quite find the flavor you want), but as I sit here with little sample bottles scattered, I thought to myself... "let's try to make something".

This has probably been done here before, so I apologize for the repeat. Feel free to redirect me...

Anyway, do any of you have some mixes using bought liquids that, when vaped alone are just ok but not so stellar for one reason or another, but when mixed with other bought liquids (in combos that you think you'd like) turn into something great?

Can of worms aside......I bought some Dr Crimmy's peanut butter cookie literally a day before I came across the whole "mess". Let's leave that there please.

I liked the peanut butter, it was very good.

But I also have a bunch of Good Life 950. It's a chocolate/coffee/mocha thing. Which I also like although the coffee is very light to me.

Neither of them knocked my socks off although they were definitely good vapes individually. That's why I ordered a 50 ml og 950.

So, I decided to make a mix of about 80% crimmy PBC and the 20% GL 950. All eyeballed by the way...ha

It turned out greater than either alone. A great peanut butter vape with that light chocolate thing going on.

So, anyone else?

Hey, if it works for you and piques your interest, go for it! I mix flavors all the time - usually dripping different (yet complimentary, in my mind anyway) liquids on the same RDA because I'm too lazy to re-wick, or by topping up a tank that's not quite empty because I'm headed out...

Mixing purchased pre-mixed juices is what first got me interested in DIY. I figured if I could mix two pre-flavored juices and make them taste better than either one alone then I could amke an even better tasting juice by mixing the flavors myself. I was right!

I've never actively combined pre-mixed juices but I know lots who do! The idea just never really appealed to me and I kinda skipped straight into DIY. :D

That's how I started. I just wasn't happy with what was available in my area. I still hit the stores trying to find one I liked. When I did, I simply cloned it, then tweaked it to my taste.

A simple tip for you. While a lot of juice producers are proud of their mix, and list the flavors. Don't always believe those are the actual Flavors ;)

Or, it might only contain .01% of that flavor. A small dose of a single flavor can make a huge difference in the final taste. Without you ever actually tasting that particular flavor.
