So, I vaped for a while without any kind of heat coming from the mod itself with a purple IMREN IMR 3.7v 3000MAH cell. I recently bought a pair of gold 3.7v 3500MAH IMREN IMR cells and I’m happy with their performance but now my mod is getting warm as I vape. Before, only my tank would heat up and my Snow Wolf 75w would usually read “high temperature” before I even noticed the heat.
The temperature control function still cuts me off when the tank heats up, but like I said, the mod is getting warm (doesn’t feel dangerously hot) where it wasn’t before. Should I be concerned, or is this to be expected with the higher capacity cells?
Edit: SOLVED, operator error. I was covering the battery vent holes at the bottom of my mod. Temp is fine now.
