Mod isn't turning on

I have an eleaf aster
all of a sudden the screen went dead and won't turn on
I've tried clicking fast to turn it on and it doesn't work
I've switched batteries and it still doesn't work (works with my different mods)
I've tried cleaning the top and bottom of where the battery connects
i don't know what else to try

(i just signed up just to ask this question please help)

I'd find out about returning it, if it falls within the warranty period. Sounds DOA-ish.
