Why in the hell is it impossible to find authentic mods?? EVERYTHING that I find is a clone of something else. Why is that? Are there advantages to clones other than price? What if I WANT authentic? Where can I go?

The apollo mod for example. The authentic is quality tested, high durability, high grade materials maticulously battered with tests to eliminate the possibility of your mod having any malfunctions or imperfections. Because of that, it's a $200 mod. It's clone is only $45. It looks similar, same style which is what people like, so they go for the cheaper option with the same style, but doing so do you undercut quality and risk faulty connections and short life span from lack of quality control since you cheaped out and bought a clone?
It's because there is a market for everything. The majority of people who like a certain mod, might like it, but can't/won't pay the authentic pricing.
I for one, buy a lot of clones.
1 They work great.
2 Even though I can afford to drop the coin on it, I'm just not going to. No one has convinced me the value actually exists to pay the premium.
If you want authentic, you generally are best looking for the company who created it. They most all of the time, sell direct.
