The bottom airflow is only a problem, when over dripping. In addition, the RDA comes with two plugs, so you can close these air holes.

As there is no lip on the bottom airflow holes, dripping does require some care to avoid over filling. But overall I think it's worth it, this thing kicks ass and with bottom and side airflow you can dial in what you like be it clouds or flavor or a combination thereof.

Only gripe I have is no grub screws in the deck and only 3 in the bag. They did make up for it with 5 airflow plugs though...lol
