So, this Is really simple, but I built a dual coil .65 with 28 gauge wicked with Rayon. With the wide bore drip tip, even with most of the airflow closed, I wasn't getting hot enough vapor, or enough flavor. I had to go to at least 50 watts, but was more blowing clouds than flavor.
Well, I decided to throw an old school KFL drip tip on top of the Delrin tip, and opened up about 3 1/2 holes on each side. What a difference! Anywhere from 30-50 watts is great, warm, and excellent flavor. The narrow airflow on the top of the KFL drip tip slows and condenses the vapor, and the flavor is so good. Also, if clouds are your thing, pop it off, use just the Delrin tip, and you're good to go. You can experiment with other narrower tips, but the original KFL tip is superior to the newer KFL tips for this application, IMO. It's nice, since I hate the tip for anything else I've tried with it, so it has a use now.
Just figured I'd throw that out there. I'm loving this RDA. I prefer the flavor, but now I can get the best of both worlds. It does look a tad goofy, but who gives a shit.
