MVP v4 has TC but not TCR...is this a big deal?

New vaper here, who just got back into vaping with a Triton pegasus mini. Then I found out I needed a better atomizer to vape the higher VG juices. Realizing I needed a different setup I decided on a Siren tank. I'm an ex smoker so I really only like MTL. For the mod I was going to get the MVP v4 because I had one back in the day and loved it. I liked having that long battery life and being able to charge my phone if need be.

But then I watched a review that said the MVP v4 has TC but doesn't have TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance). Now being an amateur vaper who only does MTL on lower watts maybe I don't need TC or TCR but I'm not sure, hence this post =D I only plan to use stainless steel coils if that makes any difference...I did read something about the coefficient not changing much. Maybe I read wrong...

In addition, I don't want a burnt hit that everyone speaks about so I considered using TC. Can someone let me know if I really need TC or TCR for my situation, because I really was dead set on getting that MVP v4. I don't want to get it and realize later that it was really important to have TCR. Advice is appreciated.

TCR is a feature that allows you to use non-standard TC wires such as SS430 or NiFe30. If you stick to standard wires such as SS316L, Ni200, or Ti#1 for TC you'll be fine... if you want to use TC at all... might just stick with wattage...

With straight TC you will be limited to the TCR of the wire types they chose to include. With SS you may want to use 430, 304, 316, etc. The TCRs of these can be quite different and you will get poor results if using a TCR of another SS type. So TCR is much more useful and versatile than TC.

Thank you for sharing that information. Think I'm just going to stick to the MVP v4 cause that's what I really wanted and it seems you guys are saying I'll be fine if I just stick to the specific types of SS. That shouldn't be a problem I don't think. If it occurs down the line that the lack of the TCR is really evident and holding me back, I'll just buy another mod that supports it.
