When i fire my mech mod the coils starts burning and it really scares me.
When i hit the fire button for i yhink 2-3 seconds the coils starts turning to orage or red which is normal but it eventually starts burning then i rleaae the fire button and blowout the firing coils and thank God its stop burning.
Is there problems with the coils or whatever that causes it.
Any advice will help thank you :)

I suppose you're doing it without a wick inside the coil right?
If the deck and coil still have juice on/in them and you heat them up, the coil will ignite the remaining juice.
If you want to dry burn your coils, wash them with water first.

so u mean that no matter how many second i hold the fire button as long as theres enough juice in the tank it will not burn?

Using cotton for wicking you want enough to have it put up a bit of resistance when pulling it through the coil, but not too much or it will choke off juice flow. If wicking is right, as long as there is enough juice to keep the wicks wet it shouldn't burn.

Also, I am assuming you're using an RDA, and if so, you'll need to drip juice after taking a few pulls on it.

If you're using a mech you MUST get an ohm meter, learn ohn's law and know the contiuous amp rating of your battery.
Don't use a mech until you do.

As long as the wick is saturated with juice the cotton won't burn and the coils are not supposed to glow.

I'm obviously over tired because what I want to say is:
WHY are people selling mechs to noobs and risking injury?
mechs should be treated like a drivers license.
(with the exception of those states that give them with your happy meal)
There should be a test to prove you know these things before you can purchase one.
I mean nothing against the OP because noobs aren't going to learn until they ask, research, or are trained but whomever is selling these devices to people that don't know how to use it, those are the people that give vaping a bad rep and put people in harms way just to make a buck.

But since I now realize I wanted to say that just because I haven't slept in 2 days, I will not say it.

Funny you should say that as I was just saying the same thing earlier. If you had to show knowledge of ohm's law, and battery safety to buy something that's unregulated we wouldn't have all these folks getting hurt

That's the way it is, the kind of regulation that is actually needed (mechs and batteries) is not implemented and the kind that isn't needed is.

Now think how many vapers out there don't read forums, reddit or any other source of info, have no clue wtf they are doing and have no one to ask or are being taught nonsense.

I feel for them for sure. I would hope they would find their way here or another forum through Google like I did. There seems to be a forum for damn near everything now.

Starting at the very beginning ... ie the warnings etc.

A mech mod is not a beginner's mod. Mech mods do not have any sort of protection built into them and as such the user must already know how to set them up and use them in a safe manner. As an adult, it is assumed you have already done the research needed to understand how to use them before you start using one.

Things you need to know first...

Ohms law.... so you know what voltage, ohms, amps and wattages you are using before you start vaping using a mech mod. The first step is building a coils and knowing what ohms it is before you put it on the mod. If you know the ohms the coil has and the voltage your battery puts out ( typically a lithium battery starts at 4.2v and goes down from there with use )... then you can figure all of the other values by using ohms law.

The maximum amp output ( continuous not burst ) that your battery can safely support. If you setup a coils that pulls more amps than your battery can handle... you risk it having a catastrophic failure and possible injury to yourself or others.

Thin coils can not support higher power/amps like a thicker wire can. So thinner wire coils need to have higher ohms than a thicker wire can handle. So what gauge wire you use will determine what it's best ohms value it can support.

How much wick ( diameter and length ) you use will determine how much liquid it is able to wick to the coils. The more juice it can deliver the cooler the coils will stay. As long as the coils stay cool enough because there is enough juice, the wick will not burn nor will the juice burn. Too much wick in the coil can choke off the flow of juice which can result in the juice burning.

Air flow... the more air that goes across the coils... the cooler the coils will stay.

Please tell me this is a joke. Please. You're on a mech and you don't know to check your cotton to make sure you have juice while vaping? Please go buy a regulated mod and a tank, then do a lot of learning before you try to use a mech again.

And if you're not taking a hit (supplying the coils with sufficient airflow) they will overheat. Juicy wicks aren't enough. Need the airflow.

And you need to get a variable power mod.

Actually, if the cotton was kept saturated properly... it wouldn't burn. The cotton only burns when the juice in it has evaporated from around the coil.

There is a little experiment we did when I was in the Boy Scouts ( long, long, loooong ago ).... You fill a paper cup and set it in the campfire, the portion of the cup that has water in it never burns but the portion that the water has evaporated from does. This same principle applies to the cotton wick... as long as there is juice and it isn't evaporated from where the coil is, nothing burns.

They had fire back then?
Soo sorry, I don't even know you and the fact that I felt required to post something I thought was so funny is also so wrong.

You can do the same with a plastic bottle :)

Stop being a fucktard, stop being fucktarded.
You have been told you have no fucking idea and how to correct it but you insist on being fucktarded. If you motherfucking refuse to learn from the other post and what is posted here then motherfucking STOP.

1. stop being a fucktarded drama queen. Put the motherfucking mech the fuck down, it is so simple but too god damned complex for you to use safely that you should go do something simple.. Play in traffic, play chicken with a freight train (they will stop for you) or suck starting a 12 ga. They are all safer than your dumb fuckery currently.

2. reading is your friend there are tons of posts without adding more fucktarded stupidity.

3. OHM meter motherfucker.. look it up.

4. not knowing what mech or batteries I stopped reading your fuckery on the other post of fucktastic fucktarrdery.

5. Regulated mod as suggested in this and the other post.

6. stop being fucktarded.

7. go watch videos on youtube about building coils, doing it safe and how not to be a fucktard.

8. STOP BEING MOTHERFUCKING FUCKTARDED!!

Oh for the love of all that is unholy you are really a stupid motherfucker. you posted this fucktarded shit in the wrong section on top of being in the throws of full anal cranial insertion.
