My DIY liquid seems to be blowing my bvc coils.

i use the same ratio, 50/50, but it seems thicker. I have vodka. I will be using mainly a dripper and making heavy VG but eventually I want to make it for my bvc tank. Should I dilute with a little water or add more PG?

Also, does anyone know why my PG and VG seems to blow my coils? My PG and VG came from eliquidmart.

50/50 is ideal for BVC coils. It's more likely to be the flavorings you use - sweetener, high flavoring, etc!

I have FA flavors only. Low percentages. I will give it another go with one of Hic's recipes that have minimal quantities and watch the PG/VG ratio.

Like Amanda said 50/50 should work great for BVC's. I use high flavor percents and 50/50 in mine with no problems. Maybe you got a bad set of coils.

I'm using a Nautilus mini (the newer style with larger holes and organic cotton) 1.6 ohm BVC with my DIY 20/80 PG/VG at 9 to 10 Watts without any problems.

Not sure what you mean by 'blow your coils'. They literally pop and stop working? Get gunked up really fast? Not wicking and taste burnt?

FWIW, I mix just about everything 50/50 and use non-naut BVC coils in my Protank without any trouble at all. They will gunk up pretty quick though if I use sweeteners or dark flavorings. Other than that issue (which is the same issue with all coils really), they wick fine and work fine

I gave my daughter an istick30 and a mini-nautilus. She only vapes 30PG/70VG DIY I make for her (mostly HIC's recipes - she's my self-appointed official taste tester). BVC coils last a few weeks with no problems.
