I did this coil after watching a video on wrapping around screws the ramp up is ridiculously short, and that taste and clouds is insane (best I have gotten so far) the only thing is its popping and spitting like crazy will that go away after a while? Read something about that somwhere

Looks good to me for a spaced build that will work well, especially for a new builder. The ramp up will be low as that is only a 4 wrap coil, if it was a contact coil you would definitely need a few more wraps to be able to use it.
Now, the popping and cracking. I do find that wide spaced coils tend to give more spitback than contact coils. Also, I would change the cotton as there is quite a lot in there, I would use a fair bit less than that.

When you say less cotton do you mean in length sticking out or as in the thickness inside the coil? I ask because I wanna get it right I love this hobby and have made some fused claptons but they don't work as well for me I love the kiss principle. I am also looking for a screw with less distance in the threads so I can get more wraps

I would say in length mainly, you only really need the cotton to just be touching the base of the juice well so it can suck that juice up nicely .
It doesn't look overly packed in the actual coils, you want to feel a little bit of resistance on the cotton when you pull it from side to side, but not so much it can't wick properly.
Good to hear you are enjoying vaping, I really got the bug myself too as many others have here. I also usually stick to simple coils myself as I find they work well for what I need. I do use fused claptons from time to time when I fancy a bit of higher power vaping though.
Is there a reason you are going for spaced coils? A screw does work quite well to evenly space coils, especially for TC builds, if you want to go contact coils though you can use pretty much anything to make and try different diameter coils. It is good to experiment to find what you like, and also you might want to use bigger coils for different styles of vaping when you fancy it.

The reason is I wanted to try it nothing else I have a coiling jig for regular coils.
I have a lot of fun making coils and juice, I love just tinkering with things (ADHD). I have build a lot of regular and clapton coils, got really dens vape but wanted to go for flavor for testing my diy juices

I like experimenting too- when I was first building I tried a lot of those odd coils from Rip Trippers tutorials, some are a lot nicer than others but give them a go- I don't have ADHD (At least that I know of lol), but enjoy tinkering too, as I think you will find most people that build do too . It is good you have a regular coil jig, they are very handy, I like the coil master style ones myself but have another one which is like a brass block, and you put different sized poles in it.
It is good you are going DIY with your juice, this saves you a tonne of money- I ended up buying a LOT of mods and tanks and RDA's with the savings though so probably have not saved anything lol..

I have now 3 mods joyetech cuboid my main daily mod. Vaporesso mini target for when I want something not very big in my pocket. And just got a noisy cricket v1 today just because it was at a really good discount (don't worry I am an electrician and know my ohms law, I also know a lot about batteries and safety from many years of Rc racing;D). This hobby has really pulled me in head first and I am afraid it will be a lot of mods tanks and drippers in the near future

The cricket, I really liked that mod. Mine has gunked up though, and I can't remove the fire switch
, it is like it is glued in. I am glad you know what you are doing, as the cricket is a bit of a beast! I found that 24G kanthal, round a 3MM bit, about 13 Wraps a side 3MM ID, was perfect on the cricket. It could still chuck plenty at this resistance, and the flavour was amazing, with thick vapour you could almost feel rolling off your tongue!

, that's a bummer, Maby you should just get it out of there even if the button gets broken and buy the upgrade button that way you can use it again. The output limit on the cuboid I belive is 25A so it's not a big problem, when you think about it most batteries will scream in pain at that point
