No experience with NETs but for filtering stuff, there's always .2 micron syringe filters... if you're already doing that then maybe [edit: onsecond though, this could kill your batch, IDK] try filtering at sub freezing to leave behind anything water soluble. Just a small sample for testing.

Got it. Thanks.

Have you used cheese cloth to strain it? Or would that absorb too much juice?

Maybe it wouldn't even filter it well enough to begin with. I have never tried extracting.

stocking, then cheese cloth, then coffee filters 4 times, then cotton in syringe

Hey quick update, I don't actually recommend sub freezing filtering, as (far as I know) some of the flavor "carriers" MAY be water soluble, I really don't know for sure for tobacco. Some vapeable flavors are water soluble, since there's water in the concentration base (for some).

Plant lipids and fats that are easily stripped from a plant with a solvent like alcohol can also freeze (suspended) in alcohol. If you try it make sure all your filtering equipment is also sub-freezing and do what you can to keep it cold until you have the liquid separated. Small test batch. I don't know how this will affect taste, only that it should make it vape cleaner on the coils.

This process is covered in depth for extractions from "other plants," can't really talk about it here so much, but the popular term is "dewaxing" if you want to go on a web search for it.

if you are familiar with using a mesh screen type for coils..
i use a 400 first, then a 600 to get the finer bits..
i strain probably 5 times at first, let rest for 2 days..
then i skim from the middle.. using a needle on a syringe..
any gauge will do.. as you do not want to take from the bottom..
there will be sludge noticeable there..
and from the top, it will be more diluted..

as far as coil burn, from a net.. you get way more than just flavoring..
there is nothing that i have found for coil burning/burnt looking..
but the way i have done it, lowers the amount of burnt effect..
this is also why i dont do nets from tobaccos very often.

i do prefer herbals, like basil, ginger, mints, rosemary, thyme, etc..
and that is totally different from a tobacco type net.

thanks smoky! i do still have some 400 mesh from my gennie days, i will have to get some six, and give it a go, and i never even though about the pulling from the middle idea. awesome, thanks agaqin @Smoky Blue

I would say around 5ml before I have to dry burn and rewick. That is on a 100% NET. I can get more life when vaping a hybrid liquid. A couple of my NETs have been used in retail liquids from a well known vendor. I can get more life on his hybrids then mine.
