Netflix's historical drug-fueled drama is back - only this time around, the narrative moves away from the confines of Columbia to the bustling streets of Guadalajara. The fourth installment in the series, titled Narcos: Mexico, effectively expands its world with strong performances from both Diego Luna and Michael Peña, wisely avoiding the pitfalls of relying too heavily on the success of previous entries. In order to make Narcos feel like a shared universe, there are some entertaining, "hey, I know that character from..." moments, but the cameos don't overshadow the new and intriguing storylines.
