Nautilus mini

morning all,

I have a new nautilus mini, got everything setup, primed the coil. Took a few pulls, had some gurgling issues.
Got up this morning and the whole tank of juice was on my table. I took it apart, cleaned it, dried it, put it back together gurgling and leaking. I am using the coils that came with it. Any suggestions?

Thank you...

Check all of the O-rings and make sure they are all securely where they should be and that all piece sections are snug butt not over tightened.

Did you buy it online or at a local B&M?

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Thanks midknight, I did check all the o rings and compared them with my other older mini's and all seem good.
I purchased on online from a store in Edmonton. At the moment I am just trying to figure out if it me, the coil or the juice (although the same juice has not been issue in my older mini's).
I am pretty sure the vendor will help (they have a stellar reputation).

I don't have a mini myself but had a full sized Nautilus about a year to a year and a half ago. I did ever run into an issue such as this with mine in particular. Now my mother in law has that tank and she leaks aft times. Not like that though. When her's does that, the culprit has always been the coil. It would somehow unscrew from the base and start screwing into the chimney. After I set it all back right it vaped like a dream.

I did take out the coil that came with the mini in the box and used one from a batch of blister packs, will see how that goes. I do have a few as backups

That's not a bad idea. It very well could be a bad coil too. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

If you have Max VG juice it won't vape too well on the nautilus- a suggestion maybe that's what it is?

So far so good, put a in a coil from my "stash" and primed, played tennis with dog (extra priming time), so far no gurgling or leaking. Will take that mini to work in a freezer bag "just in case" and see how it goes.

Glad it's working out. I think that you'll be good to go now. You can get a bad coil once and again. Just the nature of the breast sadly. As far as post- ohm tanks go Nautilus is the best in my opinion. Aspire did it right with that one.

Ya, the gurgling/flooding symptoms are usually from crappy wicking in the coils.

I had better luck with the Triton Mini coils after the original Nautilus coils that came with the tank both gurgled/flooded.

Also, be sure the top cap is on right and tight. Mine appeared to be, but wasn't threaded on well. Just removing it and screwing it back on right seemed to stop whatever vacuum problem was causing it to leak.

Every time I filled my much-loved Nautilus Mini's, I had to make sure the coils hadn't backed out. Sometimes they come off completely with the top section.

As much as I love the tanks, I now use the Triton Mini. It uses the same BVC coils with a much handier and well designed top fill. It's otherwise no better than the NM and I do prefer the Nautilus' air control. Once fine tuned, the Triton holds its air control setting and looks a little nicer.

I to have had the same issues with nautilus mini, is say 1 out of every 5 coils would do that. Also like a few other people have said make sure they are tight in to the base. Good to see another person from Edmonton on here, there's a few of us now that I've seen. Which store did you buy your tank from?

Right on I like it out that way, lots of great camping out there. I actually got my naut mini at river city to, when I did they told me to keep an eye on the coils. For me I found sometimes after 2-3 tanks it would gurgle but you can just pop the tank off and lightly dry burn the coil to dry it out and put it back in,always worked great for me.
