Hi everyone. I am interested in rebuilding my Nautilus, since I am not using it anymore with the stock coils and airflow. As a first step and to increase the airflow, I have drilled a second airhole thru the ring and have just about doubled the airflow which is nice and now I can lung hit it. It would be great to hear from anyone else who has tinkered with this device. I have seen the youtube videos about how to recoil it and I am thinking about building something with around a .8 Ohm resistance. Does anyone know what the max wattage I should consider is. I want to try to avoid melting the rubber grommet. Any info on this would be helpful. Thanks.

I rebuilt a nautlilus myself using 28 gauge, and got a lower resistance, if you want it that low 30 gauge may be better? Although I would worry about wicking, you seem to have added airflow so that is good.

If I am honest, you will have to wait for one of the more knowledgeable members what wattage is safe, I rarely push mine past 17 depending on the juice.

They are pretty easy to rebuild, but they do use a specialist wicking material, which I think is slightly better than cotton which may be one of the reasons it is known for flavour.
