Need a rec for RDA with Noisy Cricket

Never had a series box before and now I'm looking for a good SINGLE coil RDA with good airflow.

My plan is to run a big 316L twisted 28g single coil. I have plenty of RDA's, but I can't think of one that I have with enough airflow. Could it be done with a Velocity or Petri since the air will run between the dual posts? I was thinking of my Derringer, but I thought that would get too hot even with the POM cap and drip tip (and look goofy too). Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

the petri with the cloud cap is awesome on it!
i don't have a velocity to know how the 510 pin is. I typically use a tugboat with anarchist cap or Aeolus on mine

I don't think ss is the wire you want to use. Single batt mechs make you want to build low. A series mech makes you want to build high.

I figured twisted 28g, 10 wraps, 3mm ID should get me high enough. I just love the flavor from 316L. If all else fails, I have some 24g kanthal to work with. Good looking out though!

Wound up snagging a Mutation XS. Should be plenty of airflow!

that's a thin wire for a whole lot of power. I melted 26g in a series box already.
in fact the only time I use Kanthal anymore is on my series mod; and 24g is thinnest ill use.

also, the indestructible is a great rda with a good single coil option

I use a Velocity, Stro Mini, PhenotypeL, Baal V3, Hobo V3 and Double Vision RDA's for the NC, I will have a Magma Reborn to try out tomorrow on it also. Any 2 Post/Velocity Styled RDA will work wonderfully and have ample room for a Series Build. Get one that works for you!
I havent done too much SS for Series but I did do one build in the Mutation X4 for Series with some Squared 316L Wire.


I just built these for the NC and the Lucifer earlier today, I love Series...Its much like a .09 Build bugt much easier on your batteries....
2 x 30K/38N80 10 Wraps/3mm ID Fused Claptons, 2 x 28K/38N80 8 Wraps/3mm ID Fused Claptons, 2 x 26/40N80 9 Wraps/3mm ID Fused Claptons

Sorry for the resistance (no pun intended) regarding the SS wire. I've been running it for a couple of months now and love it... reluctant to go back to kanthal. Buuuuut, I came here for advice and the pros responded! Thanks guys!
