Need Advice on Buying a Temp Control Mod for Cool Vaping

Hello All,

I started vaping 10 days back and am already addicted. I got a Smok M80 Pro Plus , Mutation X v4 and a Freakshow Mini. I also got a Kanger subtank mini yesterday and I am loving it.

I am looking to buy another mod so that I can use it for Temp Control.

On my Mutation I did it at 20w at a resistance of 0.16. With the Kanger Subtank Mini I am using the pre-built 0.5 ohm coil and I vape at 15w.

The question is that since I like to cool vape, which TC mod should I get. I mean is it really worth investing in the sigelei 150 watt, Snowwolf or IPV3 Li considering I like cool vapes. With my settings (0.16 ohm at 20w and 0.5ohm at 15w) what would be the best temprature control mod for me. Also, would need something which can do Ni and Ti.

Thanks,
Have a Great Weekend.
Cheers!

In the other thread I thought you had the m80 pro. I think the plus model does do temp control.
You could just order some tempered 28g Ni200 wire and build nickel coils in your mutation and run temp control. That's an airy aty that can be set up to produce good flavor and vapor but still have a really cool vape.
Or Ni coils for your kanger. Or wrap a single coil in your freakshow mini with 26g tempered Ni200.

The coolness or warmth of your vape will be based on your build and what the temp is set at. You could get away with a single batt mod for a stealthy setup, and still have decent run times with your proposed setup. Ipvd2, sigelei 75w, The newest, and looks pretty nice is one from Koopor, a 60w. I'm sure a few more could be had at a sub 60 dollar mark. The thing to consider with higher watt mods is that you have room to grow. Just because you have 100w or more doesn't mean you need to use it. It's on hand though if you decide to get more creative.

I haven't used Ti yet but that is also what I have read also. Yes, I build spaced Ni coils.

If you like a cool vape, buck capability is a requirement. Some mods will not push out less than 3.4v (or somewhere around there) so even though you set it to a low, cool temp, it may be warmer than you want because cool could require less than 3.4v pushed out.

I have the sx mini m class and it is a nice mod that bucks but there are ithers as well... maybe the new sig 75 does and thats a lot nicer proce point than the sx mini.

You will know when looking at the specs where is says voltage range from 1.2v - 5v or whatever the range is... if it's 3.4v to whatever you know it doesn't have buck.

I've never had a really hot vape with TC - more like slightly warm, and totally unlike a low build with kanthal in an RDA!
