I just got the Smok TFV4 cause I liked the top fill and rebuildable option but when I fill it up within 8 hours or less it is empty and that's without me using it.

Has anyone else had this sort of problem and what would be your recommendation on what to do cause I don't want to just throw $40 down the drain.

And if you could recommend a better RTA, I would like for it to be dual coil, rebuildable, and preferably top fill (I hate filling my subtank mini it's just such a mess.

Thanks for any support and answers

I have a TFV4 and LOVE it. No leaking problems what so ever.
First check the white O-ring that sits on the bottom of the glass tank. The tank has been known to be shipped with this O-ring smashed in place which makes it sit crooked in it's channel.
Second, when filling, make sure you have the air control ring closed. And don't fill to the top. Leave a little space for air at top of your tank.
I hope this helps.....
Let us know.

Better RTA is relative, it depends on what you prefer. What comes to mind for a dual coil, top fill RTA, the Zephyrus, and the Cthulhu.

So then is juice disappearing, or is it leaking? Two different problems.

It's leaking cause the stand table I have it on has a wet spot and juice is running down my brand new mod

That sucks. Ya, it's not a tank problem, it's a oring problem. No tank seals. Oring seal. You have a seal problem.

Now mating surfaces could be boogered. But that is sort of obvious. Hard to imagine mating surfaces not machined true. Possible I suppose. Anyway, start with the easy fix. Change oring. Check that surfaces look clean and smooth. Try it again.
