I started vaping about 3 weeks ago and so far I've only liked 3 out of 10 or more bottles of juice that I've gotten. I'm really into citrus/fruit/refreshing type of flavors and I just got burned on another bottle tonight that I definitely wont be using. Looking for some suggestions that you think will be winners. I would hate to end up with a big box of juices that will go to waste!

Things I've liked or disliked to give you an idea:

Still Sipping by Tuglyfe - far and away my favorite so far. Crushed a 60ml bottle but can't find it local.

Citrus Crunch I think by Billows Creek? Can't find anything about it online but it was good.

Gwar fluids blood bath - no just no. Absolutely nasty.

Sweet leaf by Liquid State - Totally flavorless I literally taste nothing. Maybe I got a bad bottle?

Stratocaster by Mean Street Vapor - Meh its ok

Blueberry lemonade from Nettmix - God awful too much PG its like water.

I never hesitate to recommend the Twelve Monkeys line, it's a Canadian made Ejuice, and they're all 70VG+ with a focus mostly on fruits.......Tropika is an ADV for me, I can crush a Kong (100ml) bottle in a few days!

I'll second that. Twelve Monkeys are great flavors, Kanzi is one of my all time favorites. I've gone through dozens of bottles of it. Another really good line is Fa-Q their green party is a apple kiwi and is awesome.

Thank you guys. I notice my local shop carries cosmic fog's line. Are they decent liquids? The shocker sounds like something I might like.

It's a fairly popular line, most people seem to like it, but I can't tell you personally as I've only tried it once and can't remember if I liked any of them...........I guess at the very least, that tells me that none of them were anything special then, since they didn't make any lasting impression on me, so take from that what you will.

On a side note, why not ask them to try out their juices before you buy them?
I refuse to purchase any juice without trying it first, with the exception of Fruit Loops flavored juices.......I've tried dozens and haven't found one I don't like (although some are better than others, I haven't disliked any of them) so that's always a safe bet for me, but anything else is too hit and miss to take that kind of chance.

The local shop im referring to is nettmix in east Baltimore. They are claiming the "new law" doesn't allow them to offer samples any more which sounded fishy to me. I found another place that offers samples of their house made juices but none of them really did it for me.

That's a damn shame! I've always hated places that expect you to buy things solely based on the name/label, I need to taste it first FFS! I don't know how many flavors sound great but taste heinous, and vice-versa, you could spend alot of money trying to find just a few that you like.

Not to mention the fact the new laws haven't been put into action yet, so they could still have testers out for now at least. Hopefully you have a few more shops you can check out, maybe they'll still have some testers available. If not, I feel kinda bad for you, because that fuckin sucks!

Another juice I've been destroying lately is Slotter Pops from Lost Art Liquids, it's the Rocket Popsicles from the Ice Cream Trucks, so it's sweet and refreshing, might taste kinda fruityish or citric to some people. I've gone through a 150ml bottle in less than a week, it's pretty damn good, might want to give that a shot if it's available (or another one of their flavors called "?" mystery, it's like the mystery flavor starbursts, also amazing).

I called a few shops and checked out their websites. Found one along my commute home that says I can try flavors on their house dripper. Not only will I be going there tonight but if I find some flavors that they sell that I actually like, they most likely have picked up a new repeat customer. I don't see myself going back to the shop that tried to blow smoke up my ass about a law that isn't in effect.

I was going to recommend a vape shop with a tasting bar because I must have tried a hundred flavors before I found something other than a Tobacco I could vape. But that one was a coil killer and I started DIY. Although a few wins on contests from here has gotten me into enjoying Desert and Bakery Vapes that I said I could never see myself vaping.

@DARKSIGNAL its says you are from parts unknown lol but i'm in socal and places in my area have a huge selection and have testers FOR ALL OF THEM. like my buddys shop in LA has 200 differnt flavors. its too many but im on Suicide Bunny's Sucker Punch (dragonfruit and cream), Sour Peach Rings by Sour Licks (obviously peach rings), Delicious by CrushFruits (they are pretty new, blue raspberry gummy)

So I ended up finding a good shop called Kahuna vapor in Ellicott City Md where you could sit down and try everything in there. They had a big flat screen on the wall and they hand you a remote and let flip through the list. Once I found some that sounded good they set up one of their drippers for me and let me go to town. After about ten flavors with many wick changes I couldn't taste the flavors as well but left with Punch'd Blue Razz and Roybot Sauce Backspin (blueberry lemonade). I will be going in there on a regular basis for sure. They have a killer rewards program too where every $50 you get $5 off and first time customers get 10% off so I basically already saved $15.

My suggestion would be look into DIY it's easy, cheap and you can adjust your flavors to your taste.

With the FDA regs kicking in, I agree with.the above. Imagine your own custom concoctions, at a buck or 2.an ounce..

I'm definitely going to end up going that route. My background is in chemistry so I'm already knowledged on dilutions and generally feel like I could pull it off pretty well.

Since you're a chemist, you might consider skipping the flavor vendors and go directly to the chemicals, since most flavors are synthetic anyway.

TFA for example have detailed list of the chemical composition of all their flavors (without exact quantities ofc).

Virgin Vapor "Wicked Watermelon" & "Singing the Blues."

Just remember it is 100% VG - make sure you are using an RDA or RTA as I haven't gotten it to wick well in tanks.

I'll check them out thank you. I'm hooked on the Punch'd blue razz. It's an accurate recreation of sour punch straws and based off how sticky it is I'm sure its going to be a coil killer but its bangin for sure.

I exclusively use the Virgin Vapor line and the biggest thing that I would stress from a flavor profile standpoint is that they taste exactly like the fruit... so cherry for example is going to taste like a cherry... not the candy. That is a positive for some and a negative for others.
