need help with my smok x cube 2

Hey sorry if this is in the wrong place but I need help I have a smok x cube 2 that worked fine for about 2 months but I plugged it in to my laptop to update and now when ever I use temperature control it comes up saying there is a short in the tank iv tried everything the tank works on my friends x cube 2

Has anyone else come across this if so how did you sort it or if not then any help is welcome
