I am trying to find a good brand of ohm meters for a good price. The one I have is inaccurate. Any suggestions of what brand and where to find it online?

8 months. I built mine in a aluminum enclosure, and an adjustable stainless steel 510. Its rock solid.

Thank you for your help. I want to get back to building and my local shop says the mine is inaccurate. And sadly the only ones they carry are $30 which o find to be a bit expensive in comparison to most that I have seen.

This Westinghouse meter has been very nice, rechargeable too.
You will wait a good 3 or so weeks because it has a battery in it holding it up at customs. But it has a nice wide base and is as accurate as the other 3 I have checked it against.

Nice. Thank you. I will definitely check that out. I am also going to go to another shop or two and have them see if it isn't just the shopnim going to having a bad meter.

You know it! I was always having issues with the standard 510's so i built the whole ohm meter around the fatdaddyvapes 510

That link was with the plug... everyone has a mini usb. This one is a couple bucks cheaper... a few colors to choose from.
If you need it now, maybe you have to pay up at a shop but if you can hold out for a few weeks, can't go wrong with a western digital product :) Pay $1 to upgrade to usps epacket china shipping.

That one can't do voltage drop and what if you aren't near a USB?

IMO, this is better: http://www.madvapes.com/the-omnitester.html

(you can find better prices on it probably, but just an example. :))

I'm not worried about measuring V drop and most other meters don't either.

It runs on a battery... that is rechargeable with a usb.

Mainly I like that it is a nice wide base to use while building. It measures to the hundredths, some others do too, some don't.

The one caff linked to looks a little wider than the regular ones you see online and is rechargeable.

If you want it now and don't want to wait for one shipped from china, that looks like a good option. Will be about $5 cheaper than the one at your B&M after shipping and is most likely a better unit.
