Need some advice on a tank

I'm not sure if I am putting this in the right place but if not I'll call it a blonde moment lol. I am trying to find out what tank you guys would recommend for me to buy. I bought my hubby a Spartan 300 it is blue and black in color and I am looking for a bad tank to get for him. I'm new at all this and I want to surprise him so I don't want to ask him questions lol Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately this is impossible for anyone to answer.
We don't know anything about his vaping style, juice mix, or anything.
If you are talking strictly for appearance, you could get the Smok TFV8 in black.
But that tank is a huge cloud producing flavor machine.
If he isn't into all that you could go anywhere from the Kangertech SubTank, Uwell Crown, Sense Herakles, Tobeco Super Tank, the list would be months long.
What tank is he using now?
Do you know what settings he uses his mod at?
Are you familiar with the particular vape juice he is using and what mixture it is?
I'd like to offer advise but what you asked is similar to sending a new neighbor to the car lot and tell them to pick a car for you without them knowing you.

Do you know what he has vaped before, if he buys pre built coils or makes his own, or both, etc?

300 watts can power anything, and you might read some threads here on the Smok tfv8. It has pre made coils that take big wattage, and turn e liquid into big clouds. It also has a rebuildable section.

Nice as that is, it would be a lot of tank and mod to use all throughout the day, for me at least. Most people with a setup like that have others in use too.

A 300 watt mod is a great gift.

Good point, sorry @sheri6969 , I should have stated this as well.
While I'm at it, I'll tell you this mod requires you turn the wattage up about 5 - 8 watts higher than you would on many other mods.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, I just wanted you to know.
I've had mine for a few weeks.
I do like it, but for me personally I like some of the smaller mods better.
With that said, this is great for long trips or when you know you'll be out for a while without access to charging capabilities or extra batteries.
So I do agree, this is a great gift that'll provide all the power he'll want and battery life to spare.

Ok..Im going to do my best to answer your questions because knowing my luck my neighbor would bring me a busted up pinto instead of a smoking hot 67 camaro lol...
He has a smok tfv4 and during the day he is using a dual coil arctic. I think on the tfv4 he has it at 85 and on the arctic its like at 55. He has just started making his own juice but I am getting some recipes together to surprise him with some juices ( betty white and john wayne, etc..), but I haven't tackled that yet..he is making an 80/20 mix. Not sure if all that helps. I'm really new at all this but gotta keep hubby happy and keep his tank steaming haha.. thanks again

Thanks for the response I know he uses premade coils and he has the smok tfv4 and he has an arctic dual coil tank also. He just started making his own juice it is an 80/20 mix. I answered all of the questions in a reply to paratech I'm new here so I'm not sure if you can see my reply if not I can post the answers again for you to give me your opinion. Thanks again

Someone who already makes DIY juice and has a tfv4 would probably enjoy a tfv8. There are alternatives, but not sure any are better, unless RTA for building, or something really different, like the Eagle.

Since you mentioned Arctic, there is a newer Arctic V8 that I do like, but would not personally choose over a tfv8.

I think you guys me up my mind for me. TFV8 is what Im gonna go with. Thanks so much..You guys take care and stay safe Next challenge is conquering some recipes..I teach calculus at the university so maybe I can figure it out lol...thanks again
