Ok I want to make a Chocolate Custard that is now in all TFA into mostly an FA flavoring mix. Since FA does not have a regular custard I will use CAP Vanilla Custard for that part. Would FA Vienna Cream work for TFA Bavarian Cream? And for TFA Double Chocolate would a bit of FA Cocoa work?o_O

FA has a custard. I'm not really a fan of their Bavarian or double chocolate, so I can't help you there. I'm sure people with much more knowledge will chime in.

I just put one in my calc for this like 15min ago to try out.

FA Cocoa 1%
FA Chocolate 1%
CAP VC (v1 or v2) 1-2%
FA Vienna Cream or Vanilla Classic .5%
FA Coconut .25-.50%

Edit: might need to steep it tho...

A dab of Caramel might be good too.

NP, and you could even sub the 2 chocolates with 3% FA Irish Cream instead:D
Irish Cream tastes mostly like chocolate to me...

I think a dab of AP will bring out the chocolate and cocoa!

Been there, done that...
AP Not for me, lol.
Works for some tho.

But I'd try it without first because the VC and Coconut should take care of things

I like @Heabob 's recipe suggestion. chocolate custard is sounding good now lol

Strange I haven't seen one around here yet, but then again, it might be a total flop, lol.

But you had some pre-steeped Custard, which should make it a bit easier to test.
Dang, I gotta do that one of these days.
Such a neat idea making a Custard Base.

FA custard is different then TFA custard, it has a sour note.
Don't know well it goes with chocolate.

There are no stupid batteries, just stupid people.

Yes, all the Custards I've tried are different.
FA & TFA are better suited for "fruity" recipes.

Should have noted the Custards I mentioned above are Capella.

I made this on Saturday and am giving it a 2 week steep so will check it on 3/29. I did a good shake and a warm bathe and then have been shaking when I remember - it smells yummy:D:p ps I added both FA Vienna Cream and Vanilla Classic for a total of 5.5% flavoring. TY so much for the help Heabob;)
