So I bought the kanger drip box. Max out at 60w. You can't control the wattage unless you're doing it by your build. Anyways, of course I want max wattage. I made a twisted coil build and it was working great then I went to bed and woke up.. now it's like not getting enough power or something hardly getting any output from it. Any ideas?

not familiar with the kanger drip box ... however i have run across similar issues b4... check the coil connections.. make sure they have not come loose from the heat (tighten etc if loose. Unscrew coil/atomizer and reconnect) , check the ohms(resistance) make sure it reads it right. How is the battery charge? pull the atomizer (etc) check connections for juice leak and clean ... usually it's something simple! :) pull the battery as well.. wipe the ends..

I found this interesting...

"The box itself is simple, with a rudimentary internal chip that provides low resistance and reverse battery protection, and a single button for firing and five-click on and off. Kanger claims a 60-watt output, but my pass-through voltmeter indicated that the output was unregulated, with voltage under load dependent on the resistance of the atomizer coils."

indicated that the output was unregulated,

yeah just saw that as well via a review.. thinking the coils may have come loose.. also the posts can loosen and spin which will of course affect the resistance... also DOC - check that the deck is screwed in tight and no juice got in there .. that thing has a removable deck. it's a cool unit tho as far as it goes.

Check the voltage of the battery. Once it reaches about 3.7v the vape will drop off, like any other mech.

I wonder how low you can go before the supposed "low resistance protection" kicks in. As they apparently lied about the output regulation, I feel inclined to treat this thing as a straight mech mod, ie; .2 minimum resistance. That said, I do like the mod, light and ergonomic and a great back up mod for out and about. Have several bottom feed mod/attys now, but kudos to Kanger for showing me the light, and making bottom feed affordable so more vapers can be introduced to the advantages of the system. :)

Well guys I couldn't figure it out but luckily, NY hobo v3 came in and it works absolutely great. No issues. Thanks again though. I'm assuming what MIGHT have happened is I moved the coils too much and changed the ohms. According to the reader. Idk. But it will not push over 60. Not far over it atleast. I made some coils at .5 ohms and it was not having it.
