I have had my new Kanger mini for like a week now, and I feel like it's a little warm when I inhale. I'm using the RBA Plus rebuildable coil that came with it at about 20w with a max vg liquid, and I'm not sure if it's the coil, wattage or juice. If I put the wattage lower, it's cool but not enough flavor, but at 20, I get SOME flavor but too warm in my throat. Cant seem to find a happy medium.

P.S. my current liquid is Epiclouds Oasis Mist at 6mg nic, if that had anything to do with it.

If you don't have the air flow all the way open try that. You should also get a cooler vape if you inhale the drag right into your lungs instead of mouth to lung because you'll get more cool air in the mix and the coils will be cooled too. If you are trying this for the first time take a short drag at first and see how it goes.

Good luck with it.

I personally find a warmer vape smoother, more flavorful, and more satisfying.

Air holes opened where coil is? That was my first mistake and I didn't fire and tighten screws a little more...
I don't build much but all I can think of good luck

I understand your logic, but I actually started off with the fully opened airflow and lung inhalation even though I was used to limited airflow and, because of that, the myth to lung hit. I had been slowly making my way to the subs step by step by starting out with a cigarette-style e-pen; eventually I worked up to my little iStick mini, which I loved for a while, but as an ex-smoker, the mouth to lung is too similar to smoking. That's why I wanted to start using subs. Well that, and I never felt satisfied with the vapor cloud I was expelling; in my mind I wasn't getting a good hit (smoker mentality for you).

On another note, I've been fiddling with wires, cotton, and settings and found an ok middle ground - I'm now using JUS's Slurp with Japanese cotton in a Kanthal coil at around 16 - 18w. My next flavor is going to be Carnival from Firebrand. Good stuff if you like dessert flavors, lol!
