Need some tips.

Hello guys,

I'm vaping for a year, quit smoking after 15 years.
My experience with vaping has been pretty good so far, however, i found myself in some weird situations lately.
Gonna cut off the start of my vaping story and go straight to the point.
I have a Cuboid, which started having troubles with the 510 connector, looking for the answers on internet i found that this is pretty common to happen on cuboid's, and yes, I know it was caused by me. :'(
Right after the first issues on my cuboid, i decided to get a new mod, and got the Rx 2/3, which by the way im loving it, except that i got the "Check Battery" issue. Looking on internet again, i found some related posts about it, and its probably caused by bad design, and it can be easily fixed.
So, I decided to get my 3rd mod, but now I want to do it right, so I'm looking for a mod that doesn't have any known issue such the 510 connector on cuboid or the "check battery" on rx 2/3.
My budget is about $60 and I vape between 50-70W. Dont need a 200W Mod or something fancy such DNA200/133/75 chip. The only thing i want is a dual battery mod, cause I can still using the same batteries i have.

Hey there Woohoo and welcome to VU, try looking up some of the tried and true mods made by Eleaf and Joytech, they have some great mods in the range you listed!! Good luck:wave:

I own a Cuboid and got around the 510 issue by using a Klutch heat sink, going on 5-6 months now, no issues.
Currently I'm using the Smok Alien, love it, zip nada, no issues, and it's in your price range and Black Friday is very close. A lot of mods out there, but the Alien is flat out good. Just my personal opinion. ;)

Got an old Cuboid too and managed not to break the 510 (I'm oh so gentle :D ).
Use it mainly to dry burn coils these days.

I've been through the 510 bugs a couple of times, my B&M turned me on to the Klutch, use one on all my Mods now, rather replace the heat sink for a few bucks than tossing a 50 or 60 bucks mod! ;)

I've used the less expensive heat sinks, they work, but the 510's are a little touchy. I have a Klutch still in use that is pushing 3 years constant.
Different strokes for different folks. ;)

Hi Guys, thanks for helping.

I had the Alien in mind, I read some issues regarding the paint (which btw doesn't bother me), and it comes with the TFV8 baby, I'm not sure how this tank performs but yeah, still a new tank to my collection. :)
I also read a lot of positive things about the G2.
I already ordered a few heat sinks from FT, just for minimizing risks. :D
My Cuboid is quite old but the RX 2/3 i'm using for like a month, didnt expect at all.
So thank you guys, I'm going to get it in a few days and hope to get it right now.

Just a quick last question, as an Aromamizer Supreme owner and lover, is there anything else that could impress me regarding flavor? (Moonshot 24?, Ijoy combo?, limitless XL?, Mage?)

As a Supreme user I would skip the TFV8 baby, but if you plan on getting one I would go with the big baby.

The only things I consider a major bump from the Supreme are RDAs and if I was asked to choose one I would go with the Goon.

I wasn't going to get the TFV8 but it comes with the Smoke Alien kit. There's also the version without the baby, but for 10 Trump$ more it might be a good deal. I've heard beautiful things about Goon, this may be the one. haha

So maybe pair the TFV8 baby with your old Cuboid and give it as a gift to one of your stubborn smoking friends :D

I'd also recommend the Alien, mine has been trouble free. It's small, feels great in the hand...luv the fire bar, temp mode actually works and the display is one of the best I've seen. It fits your two battery requirements and it comes with or without the baby beast.

I haven't had any paint issues but I'm sure that's coming with age. These aren't collections I purchase to display on a shelf, I expect them get some character dings with use.

This may be my way to go. About the painting, I'dont really care, as long as the mod works i'm fine. About the baby, i was thinking in get the kit because the baby beast can bring me a different experience comparing to Supreme or Griffin 22.

Is there any place where I can follow the black friday sales? (regarding vape)

Vapor cube sale on the G2 (G2FLASHX1) brings the price to 47 and vapor beast sale on the griffin 25 mini for 17, great combo there

Got one G2, I want to get two mods, the other one I think i'm gonna wait til tomorrow to see what happens on Black Friday.
Not sure if i get another G2, or a Smoke Alien, Tarot Pro, Limitless lmc, smoat.... etc.
