Hi I am looking to get into coil building so I am going to buy an rda. I am a cloud chaser however I still want decent flavor. Currently I have the mutation x v4 in mind but I would first like to hear some opinions about it or maybe you guys can recommend a better one. I'll be buying from the store hidden vape. I'm going to be using this rda on an xcube 2.

I'd personally start with a simple dual 24g coil build and go from there. The Mutation has a lot of airflow options to play with. I have one, but honestly use my Velocity clone 99% of the time. I like the post design for easy building, tons of airflow options, and that I can just drip straight down the middle through the cap. There are tons of other great options that others will share. If you have a local shop near you, stop in. They'll be able to show you different options in person as well as potential pros and cons. They will more than likely help you with the first build right in the shop.
Do you think that the mutation x v4 is worth buying ?
For cloud chasing, I'd get the Doge X v2 over the Mutation X V4. A beginner is likely to over drip, which will cause leaking through the bottom air holes of the Mutation X V4. All that said, the aforementioned Velocity RDA, is a good beginners RDA. IMO, the Velocity by Tobeco is as good as the original, just needs thorough cleaning.
I use the mutation v4 daily & I blocked off the two air holes underneath. Still get great flavor & clouds.
Might as well have bought the Mutation X V3.

I find the even the side airflow holes can be messy on the Mutation, but that's only my opinion. The Tobeco Velocity is exactly what I use. It costs a little more than some other clones, but the overall build quality seems much better, and it's still MUCH cheaper than the authentic. I'd love to buy an authentic to give props to the designers when I find one, but I refuse to take a chance on eBay. I have a mini version from another company and the grub screws strip very easily, I've changed 2 already. The o-rings are also a bit on the thin side. The cap is a little bit too loose allowing some seeping through the bottom from the vapor collecting on the sides. Having said that I just keep chucking with the Tobeco...
On my Xcube 2, I use a plume veil rda, velocity by tobeco, and fog zombie from guys that make the infected mod. Looking into a kennedy next.
I've been looking at the alliance v2 myself only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger on it is it's 50 bucks at my local b&m and its kind of hard to justify the purchase to m wife when I already own a rda (freakshow) and a tank (tfv4)
But I like my freakshow...Sell the freakshow and get the alliance

Nice little collection, I've got the Tobeco Velocity too, such an amazing atty! I also have the Kennedy 22 on my X Cube2, such a nice combo, the airflow lines up perfectly, and the flavor it produces is nice, airflow is great, I've got the Competition Cap and the Black Glass Cap, but I wouldn't mind getting a Demon Cap which gives it the top airflow too.
The Kennedy, 2 hole or 4 hole? Been eyeing one for a bit, cant seem to find one in all copper yet.
Kennedy v1 is 2 holes
Kennedy v2 is 4 holes (bottom intake)
Kennedy 22 is 4 holes (2 cycloptic side bottom fed)
I have the Kennedy 22, by far the best one, and functions flawlessly, haven't had any leaking issues from over-dripping either.......The shop I got mine from had the Solid Copper one too, was pretty sweet, I just don't currently have any complete copper mods it would have looked nice on.......Wouldn't mind getting the Ruby Mod, with the Kennedy 22 deck and airflow built into the mod itself, pop on the Demon Kennedy Cap for top airflow, would be a sexy beast!
