Hey all!

I would like to ask for some opinions in order to help me narrow down and ultimately choose a new tank.
I have been looking around for a while and have narrowed it down to a hand full of tanks that i would like to take my vape up a notch.

But first some back ground:
I have been vaping for a couple three years now. I started with a Kangertech Pro Tank 2 i believe. Puffed on that until it broke. (about two years) I took a brake from vaping to chew and the decided to switch vices back to vaping.
My 2nd and current device is the Subvod by Kangertech. It has a custom 1300mah battery and a Toptank Nano. Personally i loved this at first. My first experience with Sub-Ohm and i loved the clouds but more importantly the flavor. This devices battery is on its last leg and i need to upgrade.

My biggest want is a tank that will be all around good but with an emphasis on FLAVOR :)

Now onto a healthy debate / discussion i hope.

I need to get a whole new set up (Tank, Mod, charger, etc.) and i want to choose a tank first and then a mod.
Below is a list of the ones that peak my interest.
*Aspire Cleito
*Aspire Triton V2
*Herakles or Kerakles Plus (Big differences? Pros/Cons)
*Uwell Crown 2

As mentioned before i have done some research on these and have heard good things.
I beleive (know) that this will be a huge upgrade from my current set up.

A few things i want to consider is:
*Good selection of coils (TC, SS, Kanthal, Ceramic, Clapton, different ohms, Etc. I would like to test out different coils)
*Quality coils
*Durability
*Flavor
*Flavor

I think i will end up trying to run the tank close to the 1.0 ohm area. I am not against clouds but i do not want to smoke out a room in a couple puffs. and i hear flavor is good in that range.

Random Thoughts"
I know that some of them can use the same coils which would be a pro.
I am curios about the ceramic coils. I think 3 are compatible will a cCell type coil.
Etc.

Thank you all in advanced.

I have been using Super Tanks, and now the super tank Mini by Tobeco.
by the far the most reliable tank I have owned.

I recommend the Super Tank Mini 25 mm

http://www.vapordna.com/Tobeco-25mm-Super-Tank-Sub-Ohm-Tank-p/tobm25.htm

Coil selection-
their own "Super Tank" coils include- .2 and .5 kanthal, and .3-.35 Notch coil
they claim 13 different coils fit in the tank, I personally have only tried Aspire and Herakles, but anything for Aspire tanks should fit.

Quality coils- their own brand of coils are in my opinion the best, i like the .5 coil which have good flavor and production, the "Atom" coils which are 3rd party tend to split open.

durabilty- i have personally dropper the tank several times, i even dropped it off my motorcycle at 45 mph, only broke the tip. but they sell replacement tips, and 3rd party tips, and replacement glass as well. i have never had mine leak, and never failed me.

Flavor- I find the flavor to be excellent especially on the Notch Coils, and alot of Shops in the area use them for testers, whicht hat says something for their quality.

One very important piece left out.....MTL or DL?

If DL;
With all considerations in place, I second the Tobeco Super Tank.
Myself I can only vouch for the original, not the 25 or any of the mini version.
But coil wise, everything that @cloudking666 said is on point.
There are actually 26 coils that fit it however the OEM coil and the Herakles seem to be best for flavor.
Myself I like the OEM .2 @ 55-65 watts.
If I am using the Herakles coil I use the .6 @ 53 watts.

As for the cCell coils, I was using the .9 @ 33 watts for quite a while until I started getting more bad coils then good.
When you have good coils it is definitely a lot tighter of a draw but super clean flavor.
As with any ceramic coil, drink plenty of fluids because it seems to be required.
When they work, they taste amazing.
I was getting 1 bad and 4 good coils per pack.
Then it ended up as 4 bad and 1 good so I stopped using them.
From my understanding they had a few bad batches out there and it has been resolved but I've already moved on.

The Aspire Cleito is definitely high on the list.
I use the .2 @ 60 watts for great flavor.
I also have the replacement tanks to increase the capacity and love them for both the Super Tank and the Cleito.

If MTL;
My wife uses the Joyetech Cubis with the 1.5 coil and I cannot seem to talk her out of it.
She just likes it.
She only goes through one tank fill per day and the coils last her 5-6 weeks.
I cannot MTL so I can only tell you what I see from her.

My daughter was using the Vaporesso Target tank with the Herakles .6 coils as MTL and recently opened up the air flow and is now DL with that setup.
She seems to like it.
Don't know if that helps but thought I'd share.

I'm liking the Freemax Starre Pro quite a bit simply for flavor using the .15 and .25 Ni200 coils.
I use the .25 on the SMOK H-Priv 220 @ 70 Watts 420° 0.00620
I use the .15 on the SMOK H-Priv 220 @ 120 Watts 550° 0.00620

The Horizontech Cerakoat is almost a duplicate of the Cleito however the top threads of the coil are female so not interchangeable.
Otherwise they work, produce, and taste almost identicle to the Cleito.

The Horizontech Arctic V8 has been working pretty well for me for flavor using the .2 V8 coil @ 70 watts.

Many may disagree but I've been pretty happy with my Uwell Rafale .2 SS coil @ 85 watts or 510° depending on your preference.

Don't forget about the Stentorian Steam Engine by Wotofo using the .7 coil at 50-60 watts.

There is also the Horizontech Phantom .... oh wait, I've had it forever and still haven't taken it out of the box.

Don't bother wasting time on the Horizontech Krixus or the Pioneer4You IPV Pure X2.
They are both a waste of time and $.

The Eleaf Melo III also falls into the Herakles .6 coils, Vaporesso cCell .9 coils, and a few others depending on it you want to DL or MTL.

I won't get into the TFV4 or TFV8 and all those coils right now because that is an entire thread by its self.

As for chargers I can vouch for the Nitecore D4, Xtar VC4 and Efest LUC Blu6.
All three work great and reliably.
My only complaints would be the Xtar VC4 screen does not shut off and the batteries are more difficult to remove unless you have finger nails.
You CAN darken the screen but if you look carefully it is not actually off.
The other two chargers have more room across the top of the batteries allowing enough grip to easily remove them.

As for mods;
huge selection but I'd lean towards the following;
Hohm Wrecker G2 because it is a good solid mod that can even TC kanthal.
Smok H-Priv because the fire button, it just works, comfortable.
Sigelei Fuchai 213 because it is small, comfortable and light (IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON USING TEMP CONTROL)
Istick TC100 because it is smaller, light weight, fire button, it just works.
Ijoy Limitless Lux Dual 26650 because it is bad ass, just works, comes with the batteries, is awesome, I like it.
Vapmod Spartans because it is a triple 18650 that hits hard and just works.
Koopor Primus because it is a triple 18650 that hits hard and just works.
Laisimo L3 because touchscreen, Bluetooth, just works.
Pioneer4You IPV5 because it is solid and just works.
Vaporesso Tarot because it is light weight and just works (however you have to run just a bit higher wattage than you may be used to because it is a bit weaker than most other mods, I think it really just reads low but it does work well with wattage raised 5 - 10 higher)

Hope at least one sentence of this provides some level of either help or questioning for you.
If not, just nod your head and pretend you agree.
No one will be the wiser.

On the question of Herakles or Herakles Plus, pros cons, and differences-

The original Herakles and new Herakles honor take the thinner, Atlantis and Triton style of coils, like the Tobeco Super Tanks, Freeman Starre, and several others.

The Plus, Pro, and Mermaid tanks use the newer, wider Herakles Plus coils, unique to that family of tanks.

The Plus and related typically have juice flow control, which must be used correctly to prevent leaking. The small, bottom fill Mermaid may be an exception.

The Plus may have a little more flavor and clouds than the original, but I don't find a big difference.

I find the original does not leak or spit, and the coils last 2-3 weeks. It is bottom fill, but the new Honor is top fill.

Sense just released new coils for both lines, including a 1.8 ohm that is not really mouth to lung, and is partially ceramic. There is a new 0.4 for the original, a new 0.6 for the Plus, and I've seen 1.2 listed for both, but have not seen it available or reviewed yet. If mouth to lung, the original could use the Triton 1.8 coils.

CoilArt and Vaporwerx also make coils for the original Herakles and related, some of which are interesting.

Hey All,
Thank you for the replys. It was very useful and informative.

After a couple of weeks of research I decided to pull the trigger on a new set up late last night.
I was able to get a hook up at a local chain because my company did all of their surveillance systems.
Because i was limited to a brick & motor location, my options were not as wide when compared to online.

Anyways, i went with the following set up. What do you guys think?
-Uwell Crown (Original) black
-IPV5 black
-Nitecore 2 slot charger
-Samsung R25 batteries (4)

This is my first experience with a set up anywhere close to this. So far i have only vaped on if for a couple hours but seem to like. I like playing around with power mode and i look forward to trying TC.

Thanks again for all of your help!!

Mod that can power almost anything, good batteries, etc.

If it were me, I might add a tank or two for variety, but that's my hoarding problem when it comes to tanks.
