Netflix has renewed the widely-captivating drama series Ozark for a third season, announced Wednesday by Netflix and posted on Twitter by Jason Bateman himself.
Season 3 will consist of 10 episodes, and will continue following the ups and downs of Bateman's character, Marty Byrd, as he and his family illegally navigate the world within the drug cartel while trying to launder $500 million in five years.
Bateman directed multiple episodes in season 1 and season 2, along with serving as an executive producer throughout the series. It is unknown if he will have any roles behind the camera for season 3. Ozark was created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams who also executive produce.
