EDIT: Nevermind. This is actually a pretty beast mod.

I was a little weary of this one because, well, I know EHPro's rep hasn't been to good as of late, but on clearance for $15, I couldn't pass it up.

Probably should have spent the extra $5 and gotten the Tobeco one. There's nothing really wrong with it. It hits great, I like the look of the brass and copper. It feels good in the hand. The throw on the switch is really smooth. The threads on the locking ring are buttery.

However, the positive pin is fixed and sits high in the threading. All of my attys make contact with the pin, but none of them sit flush with the top of the mod. It ruins the look of it. Oh well. I'm still going to use it.

Maybe the pin is just really stiff around the insulator. I have a paragon like that. They are supposed to be adjustable. Where did you get it for15 bucks?, I'd like to get one.

Huh... that might be it. I did get my Marquis to fit. I just worry that, with the way it's designed, if I manage to get something like my Tobh V2 to fit flush, that nothing else will ever make contact. The Changeling topcap is... a bit different. It has a large flat head thumb screw on the bottom that adjusts to elemental battery rattle. In the 510 themselves there's what appears to be a fixed insulating plug with a copper pen in it. There doesn't appear to be a way to adjust it.

If it were a screw plug insulator with a floating pen like my FUhattans have then I'd know how to deal with it. Hell, if it were a Nemmy style pen I'd know what to do with it. I'm just not sure what this is.

Nevermind me. It's basically a Nemmy pin. I just didn't pull hard enough on the pin or get good enough leverage when I was trying to pull it out. Took my angled forceps, stuck the ends under the contact head, and gave it a good yank. The contact came out and now works much better.

So, all in all, I'll put this one down as a win for EHPro. It hits nearly as well as my black and copper FUhattan and my attys look a little better on it thanks to being a 22mm mod.

On my Paragon, I take the battery pin out (as to not bend it), flip it over and press it down on the table to get the center pin as high as it will go. Screw on the atty, and crank it down the rest of the way.

I think Eciggity still has some brass ones left. They're back up to $30 though. 101vape has some Tobeco Stainless ones for $20. Note that the mod really is basically all copper except for the exterior sleeve so stainless or brass is purely an aesthetic choice.

Ok, thanks. I saw them at eciggity, still a good deal at half off. Good looking mod.

Yeah. The throw on the switch is practically nothing and as long as you don't look at the topcap and go, "I have no idea how this works," you can crank it down so that the battery rattle is practically nill with any atty.
