The non-XL version of the New 3DS is now available in the US, and if you're already looking to change up the way your New 3DS looks, Nintendo has faceplates for the device available for sale in its online store.
One of the coolest features of the New 3DS is the ability to swap out faceplates, giving you a chance to quickly customize Nintendo's handheld. The swappable faceplates are not a part of the New 3DS XL, which has been available in the States for some time now.
There are a few solid-color faceplates available on the site, along with different patterns and designs featuring Nintendo characters. That K.K. Slider one is particularly sweet, if you're into that sort of thing, and if you have a New 3DS, chances are you're definitely into that sort of thing.
