New batteries… need advice

I am about to purchase a new dual 18650 box mod and I will be needing new batteries. Since the Sonys are getting harder and harder to get, what kind of batteries should I look for?

Hey Kcoc,
I have used imr efest 2500
mah 35amp,Imr Vamped 2300mah 40amp, imr Mxjo 2500mah 35amp along with the sony Vtc3,4, and 5 and the LG brand. I vape on a nemesis copper clone and my go to rda is the CigGreen X with a duel parallel sleeper build each side has a 3mm 24 gauge 5 wrap which puts me at about 0.24 ohms. Out of the 4 non sony battery's I have personally used this is my findings and my 》opinion《 :
LG = worst
Efest= not the best
Vamped= hits hard but doesn't last
Mxjo=hits hard and lasts the longest
Sony= vtc4 is by far the best.
Hope this helps I would go with the Mxjo.

I use an smpl mod with dual .3 coil on an mephisto. Also a .4 dual coil mephisto attached to a Sigelei dual battery 100w box running it at 40 watts.
I honestly can't tell the difference in the discharge and charge rates between Sony vtc5, LG he2's or Samsung 25r's. The vtc5's aren't available anymore, and never tried the vtc4's. Not going to pay 12 bucks per battery for the vtc4's, when I can buy 2 of the others for the same price.
