Seems unanimous that vaperstek nic is the way to go is the pg and VG from these sites just the same stuff in different clothes or is there a noticeable difference between vendors

There may be a slight difference between them but I only have experience between Wal-Mart vg and essential depot. Essential Depot all the way for my pick, very clean tasting vg and pg. For nic I use myfreedomsmokes. No complaints there. Oh and btw, hello and welcome to the forums. Also Welcome to the wonderful world of DIY!!! Hope this helps.

Yeah, taste is subjective for everyone. Nice thing is that you can make it to suit your own taste and not worry about anyone else. Take lots of notes and start out with low percentages of flavoring as it is ALWAYS easier to add more flavor than it is to take out. I recommend starting at around 3% as a base line for what ever main flavor you want. Adjust accordingly as there are a few flavors that are really strong to begin with. For example Anise or Cinnamon could be used at or around .5% because of their strength. Let me know the flavors you get and I can help make a few suggestions for you from my experience with them if I have used them already. I have around 140 different flavors personally. I mainly use unflavored about 75% of the time so my flavor percentages are going to be lower than most by about half. It is like drinking water all day and then having a glass of Kool-Aid when using flavored ejuice. ;) It is also good to find a few good shake n vapes as then you will have juice while trying to mix a more complex ones.

Man that's super helpful thanks I have been reading everything I can find involving HIC he seems very knowledgeable. And so far I'm in love with honeydew milkshake from teleos, so I'm leaning towards a white peach, strawberry, Vienna cream, and regular cream from FA not a ton of money available right now but enough to get started with the basics and get my feet wet. HIC posted a pinapple upside downncake variant I might try as well

Wizardlabs is a good place to get flavoring from. They have small 8 ml bottles cheap so you can try a flavor and not buy and possibly waste a lot of flavoring. Do that until you find ones you like and then you can buy higher amounts. I would suggest strawberry at 3%, white peach at 1% and Vienna cream at 1.5% personally if I were to mix my own using those flavors. Best thing to do is mix each one by themselves and find each sweet spot and flavor profile that they would add. White peach and Strawberry would probably be around 3% as a standalone flavor and/or main flavor. Vienna Cream and regular cream would be good enhancers from about .5% - 2%. Also, the creams might take some time to mature fully (1-2 weeks). When you make a juice, you would be able to tell if it is good right away or not. If it is close to what you were looking for, just give it some time to steep. A good juice can get better with time, but a terrible juice will not. No matter how much time you give it.

Awesome, I'm more than likely gonna get , white peach, strawberry, banana, sweet cream, Vienna custardcustard, and Nona cake to start with I have a mean sweet tooth and those flavors seem like I'll be able to get a few different combos in

Bullcityvapor.com is also a great cheap place to get flavors, and they have a rating system you can see from any page, makes it easier to see which flavors are popular.

Are you mixing with a scale or syringes?
Everyone here will tell you that weight/scale is infinitely easier, cheaper and faster.

Try searching our diy recipe forum, e-liquid-recipes.com, diy ejuice reddit and alltheflavors for some recipes with the types of flavor you want. All flavors are NOT created equal and HIC is an amazing mixer, but he pretty much only works with FA, you might want to try a few different brands.

Same with pg vg and nic, I'm using essential Depot now, because they had a sale of like 400 gallons for $60, but I'm a huge fan of liquid barn. But don't be afraid to mix it up(hah, see what I did there?) And practice safe mixing with nic, and store it properly. Also don't be afraid to ask for samples.

SHAKE EVERYTHING. I always forget to mention that part.

There are a million things I can tell you but your going to figure most of it out on your own. If you have any questions, just ask. That's why we're here.

If you haven't ordered flavors yet though, I recommend skipping nonna cake and getting flavor west yellow cake and Capella vanilla cupcake version 2.

Thanks for your time prep hero I ended up getting 22 flavors from bull city and my nic pg and VG from vaperstek figured start with the good stuff to eliminate some variables, all flavors are fa. Ive seen the praise from everyone that hic gets so I figured his ideas recipes and notes will be invaluable if I want some vapable juices while I experiment lol

Thank you sir
No problem. But remember fa isn't the end all. You don't want to miss out on something amazing by another company.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
